It can be beneficial to start looking at your trees in the winter as you can clearly see seeing if the tree is dead or has broken branches. Its easier to notice disease/ issues without its leaves on the tree. Sometimes tree will encroach on your property, and now is the time to get them pruned up and clear of roof lines. If you are noticing excessive amounts of brown needles in conifers this can be a sign of disease or decline of the health of the tree.
